Between the Bars was an art exhibition that took place at the Robert E. Kennedy Library in 2017. This exhibition featured the artwork, poetry and biographies of incarcerated men at The California Men's Colony, a prison in San Luis Obispo. My part in this project was digitizing this book, allowing access to the public, including family members and friends of the artists.

The Design Work

My digital design added additional artwork, artist statements and biographies that weren't in the original version. I also added an artist profile featuring an artist who has been released from prison. My main additions to the eBook were interactive elements such as moving artwork, clickable links and photo slideshows.
